World Equestrian Center – Ocala has earned a place on TIME’s annual list of the World’s Greatest Places, a prestigious roundup recognizing 100 remarkable destinations across the globe. This year, the Ocala property stands out as one of only 50 hotels and resorts selected worldwide—and the sole Florida resort featured in the “Places to Stay” category. Notably, just 13 hotels and resorts across the United States made the 2024 list.

The Stella Awards Finalist

The Equestrian Hotel has been named a nominee in the 7th Annual Stella Awards presented by Northstar Meetings Group. The Stella Awards celebrate properties that consistently provide exceptional service and innovative experiences for meeting and event professionals.

This year, The Equestrian is recognized across three competitive Southeast region categories: Best Boutique Property, Best Food & Beverage, and Best Décor/Design.

Hospitality Design Awards Finalist

Roberts Design Group has received another prestigious international nomination, earning recognition at the 2022 Hospitality Design Project Awards for its work on The Equestrian Hotel at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.

The firm is one of only five global finalists in the Luxury Hotel Public Space category. According to Hospitality Design, nominees were selected from 817 entries worldwide and evaluated for design innovation, functionality, sustainability, purpose, and overall impact.

Gold Key Awards Finalist

Roberts Design Group is honored to be nominated for a Gold Key Award for its work on The Equestrian Hotel at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.

The hotel has been selected as one of only five properties worldwide competing in the Best Hotel Luxury category. Presented by Boutique Design, the Gold Key Awards are a prestigious international recognition, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to refined luxury, exceptional accommodations, and elevated design.

Designed by Colorado-based Studio R Interiors, the property features a modernist sensibility, complete with Art Deco influences informed by the armory’s construction in 1941, as well as natural materials and locally sourced artwork.
